Circling slider

Further attempts are made to make a better slider and progress is reached. A report will be published later. However, a new slider (?) was quickly constructed from an old motor. I used it to film a recent model of a wooden hammer that fuctions very well. It was used several times to hammer wooden poles in the ground. The home-made wooden hammer is fully constructed from garden-grown wooden pieces: maple tree for the hammer and hazelnut for the stem. The iron rings were a gift of my brother Martin. A good trick to protect the upper part of the pole is to add temporarely a "press band".
Anyway, the hammer is enjoying its short role as a film actor very much.

The circling slider is shown below in a few photographs. It is based on an old motor from a Bauknecht washing machine. An aluminum bar was bought and fixed on the wheel of the heavy motor. The driving force is a very small motor from Conrad.
